Spitting cobra aims its target and then suddenly contracts its venom glad. The venom comes out of these fangs with quite a pressure because of the sudden contraction in the venom gland.

When this cytotoxic venom falls over the skin, it causes blisters and inflammation in that area. In the case of any wound on the skin, the venom travels inside the body through the wound and the person may die as well.

Interesting thing is that a spitting cobra always targets the face so that the venom could get into the eyes, which could help the cobra to escape away. Even a tiny amount of venom may cause severe problems like vision loss.
Along with spitting the venom, this cobra can inject the venom by biting as well.
