Another name for radicals is surds.
In this lesson, you will learn to divide radicals by dividing the numbers that are inside the radicals together.
The example shown is easy to remember and understand - by using non radical numbers - for example the root 36 divided by root 9. This is the same as 6 divided by 3, which is 2 - or root 4.
