When a scorpion senses any threat, it uses the stinger present at the end of its flexible tail to attack the threat. The scorpion easily penetrates its stinger in your skin and squeezes the venom glands to inject the venom into your body.
Right after getting bitten by the scorpion, you start to feel an extreme level of pain along with redness and swelling in that area. As time passes, the level of pain starts to increase.
Alongside the severe pain, some other symptoms like a mild tingling, burning sensation, sweating, blurry vision, muscle twitching, breathing difficulties, and slurred speech, can be experienced.
Although people don't generally die because of the scorpion sting, some death cases of kids and old ones because of scorpion stings come into existence each year.
The reason behind these death cases is the small body structure and weaker body of kids, and old people, respectively which causes death due to breathing problems and heart attacks.
